SIX FOOT
Once I held happiness, but lost her embrace
Now my memory struggles to make out her face
Long ago, I grew tired of searching
Nowadays, I grow tired of waiting
What have I done to deserve this life?
How many ways can fate find to take my light?
I live my days loving freely,
But no one accepts the notion
Angel of death, once I ran,
Now I accept your potion
But the Angel’s ears take not heed
As my mangled heart so ever slowly bleeds
Van Gogh said the sadness will never leave
One day I will end it myself
Untouched, my story will sit upon some shelf
When I’m gone, my possessions the world,
you will reap
Six foot doesn’t seem so deep
"The sadness will never go away" VVG
