In my mind, I can go anywhere,

Adrift on the ocean, could I be the sail?

I could be the brush which runs through your hair,

Not limited by reality measured by no scale

 
I can fly to the moon disappear in the sea,

I could be the bright light shone out from the marquee

I could be a swallow soaring with such grace,

I can be the warmth when you long for an embrace

 
In my mind possibilities are limitless

Traveling through space and time,

Each moment with you can seem so endless,

Your lips taste of lavender wine

 
You smile shines like a thousand suns,

The sharpness of your wit is second to none

Together we laugh and roll along the floor,

Beginning to melt we seep through the boards

 
In my mind thoughts flow like a river,

Not knowing how or where it will end

I could descend over the falls holding on by a sliver,

Or wash up along the sea bed

 
I can recall the most distant of memories,

Remembering however I please

Like the look on your face a moment before,

Your body explodes with a sneeze

 
All journeys must end for a new one to begin,

This knowledge in time you will know

Next time you see me you can tell me how you’ve been,

But for now I really must go

 
Until the next time I drift off to sleep,

Together again we will be
