Just People
The world is full of them,
They infest every corner,
Like tiny stitches forming a hem,
Mirror images of the former,
Different faces changing,
Flashing swiftly by,
Yet underneath the layering,
It's still just people brewing lies,
Always people thickly scheming,
Leaving a scarring residue as tar,
Small children, even adults, screaming,
We reveal what villians we are,
Eyes were once windows to the soul,
Personalitys used to be coveted by appeal,
Now these hearts are conjured of coal,
We people don't know how to deal.
