Crackling Energy
I'm bouncing up and down,
My feet are slapping against the gorund,
I can't think clearly,
Though it's not because i'm dreary,
In waves it comes over me,though
Like a sugar high but naturally,
Making everything race before my eyes,
The world lit up and stripped of lies,
My muscles are soft and ready,
To run at any minute,
If i jumped i'm sure i'd collide with the cieling,
Ignoring people who just don't get it,
The ones who don't feel that insistent pulse,
A beat that ties the world,
Never misses any of it,
Always there and alwas invisibly seen,
It's part of evry song,
Every race and banging gong,
With the leaves that tumble in fall,
And raging rivers one and all,
Now it's in me,
This rythym i cannot fight,
But why should i try,
For it is the feverent beat of life.
