IMAGINE IF YOU WILL
Try to imagine with me if you will, Out of control! You’re driving too fast, Try to imagine with me if you could, Why weren’t you careful, why go so fast? Try to imagine, stand here by me, Your mother screamed, fell to the floor, It can’t be my child your father said, Reckless driving and speeding too, Try to imagine your mother lying there, Sobs racking their bodies, they just found out, Why did you drink and decide to drive? Imagine your friends with sorrowful tears,
A car out of control careening down a hill.
Please slow down or your life won’t last.
The sound of metal hitting against wood,
You died too young your life didn’t last.
Your parents just found out, you hit a tree.
Your dad can’t believe it as he shuts the door.
It isn’t true! He’s too young to be dead!
Hit a tree, the window you went through.
Your dad on his knees stroking her hair.
Their only child dies, what was it all about?
Instead of just being late now you won’t arrive.
How much they will miss you throughout the years.
