I DREAMED
I dreamed my time on earth had suddenly came to an end,
At first I was so sad, as I would miss you so my friend. I dreamed I saw a light, the brightest I had ever seen, I was led to a throne, one fit for the heavenly king. I dreamed I was in heaven and it was as beautiful as could be, I seen the face of Jesus as he opened his arms for me. I dreamed about peace and harmony and beauty all around, I heard the songs of angels, oh what a beautiful sound! I dreamed I was contented, as I strolled down streets of gold, And could almost feel the warmth of the land that’s never cold. I dreamed I was playing the harp, with a halo over my head, Later I went to sleep, snuggling in the cloud I used for a bed. I dreamed I seen my grandma with my grandchild by her side, And grandpa was right behind them giving angels a pony ride. I dreamed I saw my mamma, a smile upon her face, Looking as beautiful as ever, in a gown of satin and lace. I dreamed I saw my daddy, he was standing by her side, We all hugged each other, laughing until we cried. I dreamed a dream so peaceful, I wished it could never end, I wanted it to last forever, then I awakened again my friend
