Angels shall sing thee to rest
This poem came to me while i was affixing a bronze angel to a Baroque trumpet in the old Crocker Early MusicWorkshop when it was in Windsor NY
it is dedicated to the memory of Deborah Linton who died tragically that year. and to Derwood Crocker her friend.
Angels shall sing thee to rest my love
and Angels shall sing thee to rest
Heart beating wildly too soon shall be still
Angels shall sing thee to rest my love
and Angels shall sing thee to rest
and those I have loved throughout my life
recall that I love'd thee best
