Whenever I Cry Again
Whenever I Cry Again
By Shericka Murphy
Without the way you treated me
I don't know where I would be
I don't know just what I'd do
Without the treatment that came from you
I don't think that I would have to fight
I think that I would be alright--
I think that I could make it out
I think I'd know what love was about
I mean without the way you gave me love
I don't know what I'd be thinking of
I don't think I'd know how to think
Without having to pick up a drink
I don't think that I would really care
I think that I might stop pulling out my hair
I think that I might stop feeling so vile
I think that maybe, just maybe, I could even smile
I tell you, without the kisses that you gave
I don't know exactly how I would behave
I don't know exactly how I would feel
Without the love and no appeal
But sir I will tell you this
That I will never ever miss
Anything that you ever had
Everything from you was bad
And I will never forget
That first day we met
And that day we got married
And that secret you carried
That you just didn't love me
And It wasn't ever meant to be
But I'll be sure to think of you my man
Whenever I cry again....
