Stop it with those tears

You don’t need no worries

But more blood in your veins

More strength for your body

More thought for your brains

There is a beauty in you

And a light that glows

You are stronger than him

And that, he knows

Now you let him be afraid

And fearless you must stay

And make sure that he’s a man

Before you give your heart away

Because a boy has not yet learned

How to hold a woman’s heart

He will run with it and fall

And he will break it apart

So go on now my dear

And wipe down that pretty face

Take your heart out of your hands

And put it back I its place

Honey aint no man worth your tears

Not a one that falls from your eye

But when you find one that is, my dear

He will never make you cry.
