Kookie
Kookie
By Shericka Murphy
What kind of love is this....
Because I wish--
That there was more passion in our kiss
And less moments together that we miss
And more good memories to reminisce.
And I can't remember the last time I felt-
Your touch that make me melt,
And I've dealt...
With the way things between us are
And I wish I could say that things went too far
But they didn't, so my bags are in the car
And now I have a scar.
That another man will heal
Another heartbeat to feel
One of your treasures that he can steal.
And like a Kookie you knew I was
Easily crumble is what it does
And sweet in your life you knew I was
Melt in your mouth...Just like it does...
And because...
These things are simply true
I was a casualty to you
I was something for you to do
And I wish I knew--
That things would become this way
Then I would've never vowed to stay
And lose a little love each day
Just your Kookie I must say...
Just a Kookie....In every way....
