Weeding
Weeding through this jungle
in the midst of taylored serpents
striking at my spirit
nerve of me
how dare I speak the truth
or tell a tale
or God forbid I laugh
you see
this hollow chest
must have a friend,
you say
but I don't think so
play pretend
is for such
tiny little children
hanging from a noose
around their neck
of untold stories.
