Walls closing in, [heaps of Debris fall down on me]
Knock knock, ring, ring, dingdong.
Wake up, eyes wide open.
Things around me looked so normal,
My room looks the same, at first of course.
Am I deluded or experiencing the paranormal?
Again it starts, the noise, in concert, like thunder.
Beep beep, ring ring, dingdong, it's no wonder.
You have mail, the computer sings.
Blundering noises, all things ring.
Lost is the sense of right and wrong, I stumble.
In the noise I'm buckling under, not tumbling.
Get a grip you restless child it’s no wonder,
Nothing ventured nothing gained.
Was I the one, who said, that?
Again the noise, ring ring ring.
It’s the phone, the door and other things.
It’s an acumination of technology’s stings.
Family, friends, and lovers too.
Do demand of such as would tumble you.
Here there and everywhere it brews
Gossip, email, emotional fires, things to do.
Stop calling me, you add to the problematic strew.
I am stressed, can’t take no more,
Too much to hear and too much to chew.
What to do, if you were me and I you?
My life dictated hitherto, in servant to you.
Push beyond my limits I still got through.
As time rendered true, y’all pounded more.
To keep it going I used long lasting glue.
Super glue worked like voodoo or witches brew.
I can no longer kept up with all that.
Halloween is over I can longer wear that hat.
Look at me crumbling at first daylight.
No more one hundred emails or Internet chat.
You’ve eating me up like a carnivorous bat,
Everything sound like thunder, the pat pat pat.
And that just the steps of my Siamese cat.
Ominous cloud hanging all over me.
Can’t you see how it’s bothered me.
I close my blinds and bolt the door.
Shut out all that buzzing in my ear.
It’s not wanted here no more.
So stop it, don’t call on me.
I can’t take it, I’ve shut the shutters.
Unplugged that phone, I laid on the floor.
Go go go away I can’t answer the door.
That noise isn’t wanted here no more.
Heaps of Debris falling down on me.
I stumble I didn’t fall, I know now,
I’ll survived it, walls closing in and all.
I took that tumble but didn't fall.
