unfolding
lurking in the dark of night
they tap upon my window,
demons and ghosts taunting
my thoughts; grabbing my blade
i slash mightily at their heads
watching them tumble across
the moonlit lawn. do not tangle
yourself with a warrior, i tell them, you will never win.
how foolish of them to think they could.
they tap upon my window,
demons and ghosts taunting
my thoughts; grabbing my blade
i slash mightily at their heads
watching them tumble across
the moonlit lawn. do not tangle
yourself with a warrior, i tell them, you will never win.
how foolish of them to think they could.
