many things overturn
in her brain, but she shares
just a smidge to him or to her.
just a smackling of some part of something stirring
the lifeblood within her. never allowing
them to delve very deep into her essence,
for what would that prove? no one seemingly
worthy enough to untangle her thoughts that've
been drying on the line for so long in full view anyway;
she decides instead to fold them up carefully
and pack them away for safe keeping until
they really want to know what makes
her soul dance in heaven on earth
just a smidge to him or to her.
just a smackling of some part of something stirring
the lifeblood within her. never allowing
them to delve very deep into her essence,
for what would that prove? no one seemingly
worthy enough to untangle her thoughts that've
been drying on the line for so long in full view anyway;
she decides instead to fold them up carefully
and pack them away for safe keeping until
they really want to know what makes
her soul dance in heaven on earth
