The Beautiful Girl 2
Six years of marriage have passed,
and yet you look as beautiful as the first day I laid eyes on you.
Our children come to our bed to wake us up, shouting "mommy, daddy come on we need to get to school."
As we rise from our beds, it feels as if it was only yesterday that we met in that bar, got married, and had our kids.
I hold you in my arms, remembering the beautiful smile you give me everyday.
Knowing what awaits for me every second of my life, is you my beautiful girl.
Your the one who gave me everything when I only gave you so little in return.
For everyday I return to the place called home I hear the words "I welcome you home, my husband"
As I tell you I am home, for you remind me everyday what awaits for me out there in the world.
How can i repay this wonderful marriage to your soul, will we live on to our old age?
For this my love, we will have to find out as we travel through our journey together and forever.
