The Beautiful Girl 3
Here we are married, our children are grown up now.
We see each other; old we may be, but I still see you as the beautiful girl I married all those years ago.
The Beautiful Girl that gave me everything, kids, happy life, and much more.
We rise from our beds, to face what comes to us in this day, I heard a knock on our door.
I see its our son with his pregnant wife,
they come in with there two children, we sit there in the kitchen.
Chatting about work, about the family, about everything that has been going through our son's life.
A flash back happens,
I see when our son was only a 16 years old with his beautiful 14 year old sister.
Thinking they would be fine as they drove away that one fateful day.
As the flash back continued I see our son driving back up the driveway.
Only he got out of the car with blood and open wounds on his chest and right arm.
I remember when I gave me the news our daughter was murdered by rapist, who told them they only need help.
The flash back stops, as I see our son grown up now.
My Beautiful Girl comes into the room, as she heard our grand-child ask why dont they ever see there aunt that they have heard about.
I only tell them, shes in a better place now, and always will be.
As I watch them drive away, I still imagine our daughter coming back one day, but she will never return shes, like you said in a better place.
As I take my jacket, I drive away from the house to see our daughters grave;
I rest the flowers there.
Now My Beautiful Girl, we may be happy with our lives that will soon end;
but we will soon see our child when we past the Golden Gates.
