the animal inside you is wild

unleashing your inner animal

to hell with rational

it's all just laughable

and none too practical

burning in the flame

yet not inflammable

everything you needed

became invisible

and the world was leaning towards

Being overly predictable

The choices they were making

Was drowning in a feeling

Not so comfortable

so inside there was instinct

unleashed an inner Lynx

not concerned with how

Upon instructing you to blink

3 2 1 and no more would you think

when hypnotizing deceiving words

Dig to fester and burn

marketing a game association just to link

A long winding journey

another wretched fume to drink

Watching seeing if you swim

Or just how far you sink

thought the stop and stare

was someone who didn't care

or just another claiming life's not fair

Dangerous demons to which you don't compare

Money and greed acting on a dare

but needless to say

Although they were not there

Inside them was a bear

although they did stray they weren't actually headed anywhere

it was not them going the wrong way

The blame they would not share

and in your hearts the feeling of dismay

There lungs no longer taking in any good air

and no longer could you try to convey

life as it seemed to find a way

to suppress all you needed to say

and you didn't stand up

and say it's not okay

you just sat and listened

and simply obeyed

got down on your knees

and started to pray

meanwhile the days were passing away

while evil has wound itself in today

you will still wandering

so far away
