Reality and the Facade
Assemble the pieces ignore the confusion
All those so-called convictions you hold
Loosen your firm will, to fall on disapproval
Open doors too imagine choices ahead
Pay awareness body ever so sleepy awake,
Unyielding is merely the repeat attachment to distance the subjective weakness
Into positive changes in mind
I’ve been taught a lot by wonder,
Between dirt & stars skyward,
I’ve watched them shining brighter
Dancing from a yonder
Impressions of dishonesty grows
Intended for impure purposes
Designed to cause sleepless nights
Motionless it leaves silence
Pay awareness body ever so sleepy awake,
Unyielding is merely the repeat attachment to distance the subjective weakness
Into positive changes in mind
Disturbed by the echoes
In a rooms glowing reactions
Calling for a remedy
In the screams of crossfire
Frowned then wept, questioned the problem,
Then to my surprise, in you had crept,
Mind had short-circuited, immobilized
Casualty to syntax error I now slept
Pay awareness body ever so sleepy awake,
Unyielding is merely the repeat attachment to distance the subjective weakness
Into positive changes in mind
Illusions viewed by someone subconscious
Calming the mirrored emotions inside
You make it a joke causing animosity
It backfires into an empty cup of pride
A blackout has fine tuned horrors
The darkness of the night
Assigned beyond the unity
Interruptions reduced to despair
Pay attention body ever so sleepy awake,
Constant is merely the do again commitment to distance the subjective weakness
Into constructive changes in mind
Stop fretting for if you didn’t make it
Or get where you’re meant to be
You weren’t meant to be there
It wasn’t meant to be it’s not your scene
Expressing extreme sorrow
At the unexpected twists
That no one can tell himself
To ignore the heaviness it seems
To lay my head down to sleep
And give in to the night and dreams
