Stuck Inside Myself
I pace back and forth in my gilded cage.Peering out through her eyes.
My eyes.
They don't feel like mine anymore.
I watch people around me.
Crying. Yelling. Blaming me.
I feel nothing. Empty. Hollow.
But the bars are solid.
They hold under my desperate struggles.
So I sit. And wait.
My face a frozen mask. People react around me...
But
I
Remain
Hollow....
