Spring Again
Picnics in the park,
Trips to the zoo,
Time for everything to renew.
Waiting and wondering,
What will this newness bring?
Will it make my heart sing?
In the woods,
Fishing in a brook,
Some, with no barbed hook.
Camping under a clear sky,
Watching the stars and waiting,
For what are we all baiting?
So still we wait
For the newness to begin,
And what it will bring, again.
Trips to the zoo,
Time for everything to renew.
Waiting and wondering,
What will this newness bring?
Will it make my heart sing?
In the woods,
Fishing in a brook,
Some, with no barbed hook.
Camping under a clear sky,
Watching the stars and waiting,
For what are we all baiting?
So still we wait
For the newness to begin,
And what it will bring, again.
