Rainy Day
Watching spring rain,
Falling on a window pane.
Curled up in bed with a book,
Waiting for a touch, a word, a look.
Feeling content with my spot,
But wanting you alot.
So I'm listening to hear,
For the voice I hold dear.
Come out of your study,
And play with your buddy.
You're clueless I'm sure,
And don't know of your allure.
I've been patient enough,
It's time to get tough.
I'm ready to pounce,
And agressively bounce.
I'll drag you to bed,
To pay attention to me instead.
Falling on a window pane.
Curled up in bed with a book,
Waiting for a touch, a word, a look.
Feeling content with my spot,
But wanting you alot.
So I'm listening to hear,
For the voice I hold dear.
Come out of your study,
And play with your buddy.
You're clueless I'm sure,
And don't know of your allure.
I've been patient enough,
It's time to get tough.
I'm ready to pounce,
And agressively bounce.
I'll drag you to bed,
To pay attention to me instead.
