Lonely Boy
Adorable little boy with dimples,
For him, life should be so simple.
To hear him sing,
Voice like an angel,
Everyone close,
Looking for an angle.
So gullible, sweet and naive,
Not knowing who or what to believe.
Never allowed to be a regular kid,
Always having to watch what he said or did.
Playgrounds and parks forbidden,
Having to always stay hidden.
Denied his childhood,
Even in his own neighborhood.
How lonely is he,
Because of what he could or would be ?
