Sleeping Forest
Walking in winters sleeping forest.Long nights sealed in the modified light.
Blue spruce dressed all year round,
Stands proudly on the frozen ground.
Snow drapes its overcoat, as dusting
wind drifts and floats.
Tall oak with limbs so high, touch the
outline of the sky.
Only elements speak in the air...
Woodland creatures warm in their
lair...
Snowflakes gather from distant heights.
Dancing downwards, lacing limbs, as
If each snow flake grew wings to fly...
Gentle comfort in this forest stands...
Softly held nature's hands.....
Sleeping peacefully in winter's
Cold commands....
My eyes behold a sight so grand!!!
