Her Light of Smiles
Look do you see the star that outshines the others?Do you see the spectrum of lights that it designs?
Somewhere in the East, this star is glowing fine.
What a sorrowful look my child reveals, I asked
What sadness takes her smile, she replies, it is
the night takes her play to hide it in the day......
Come see this star that beams afar, like
the rainbow of the night, so amazing the
rich colors of its light.
She walked to her window to gaze upon its
glow, softly her smile begins to show.........
Quietly she stood at the moment soft and pure,
sadness lifted fast it left her heart for sure.
She said sometimes watching the sky became
her silent play. The stars can bring the joy in...
sleeping hours of the day.
Her smile was warm and picturesque, her eyes
was filled with starlight wonder, she lit the room
like lightning lights the thunder.
This moment rare my heart will keep, my loving child,
now sound asleep. In morning when she
awakes that star gaze time she will recall.........
and wear her smile when raindrops fall...
Standing in her window tall....
Her light out shines it all....
