    Mountain Mystifying Light

     Mountain Mystifying Light


    A light showed from a mountaintop as a second sun.
    It was a perfect blend of the day in highest altitude it lit the way.
    I have no understanding of its origin it just appeared one dark night.
    A pure white light afar that grew to outshine the morning star.
    Mankind in the valley below was prepared to find its source, so
    they planned their course. 
    A crew of seven was prepared to find if the light came from heaven.
    So they climbed from the Valley to reach the summit, on a peaceful
    Sunny day, with curiosity they were ready to see, the heights of this 
    mysterious light.
    Dangers lurked on this high protruding rock, landslides like an angry tide
    Would send earth to abound, with a rumbling sound.
    For hours the climbers forged ahead, nearing the summit covered with snow 
    They pressed onward nearing the light that showed.
    Only hope that these climbers possessed was to stop and get some rest.
    A small cavern was close by, so they bedded down for the night.  In the distance 
    glowed an amazing light, the very light they were hoping to find a mountain
    Of hope; they were about to discover. 
    Deep in dreams smoke cleared off the tip-top of the mountain so near 
    A place of peace that was warm and clear, the dangerous climb the light outshines their fears.
