Fleeting Butterfly (Original)
Fleeting ButterflyAlone Butterfly touches down upon a cluster of wildflowers
Colors vividly hold the moment of her maiden flight
She drifts upon the tall grass and misting fragrant scents
The scintillating sun softens the pedals of wild roses
She weaves between the hummingbirds and bees
Crimson amber wings so grand painted by natures hand
She is the fleeting passion of Mother Earth, drifts on air
Her journey will be short-lived, but her grace will be a rapture
As a soul of dignity, then comes to pass, loving flight
In the tall and mystic grass
Lone butterfly lift my eyes to the rhythm of your wings and
Greet the field enclosed by pure waters of cooling springs
