Plight

Plight

thoughts scattered
voices louder
empty stomach
running from it
moving slowly
scream and shout
angry people
let it out

making progress
muting noises
facing problems
making choices
eating Ramen
reading books
breaking records
doing good

practice silence
making peace
walking forward
Vis-à-vis
breaking windows
shaking walls
watching boundary lines

fall
nice and steady
keep it cool
voices shattered
stomach full
quiet room
free and light
laughing at such
useless plight

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
