Oh Little Raven
Oh little raven, how I envy thee.
Having wings of flight,
to fly away free.
Oh little raven,
little worries known.
You leave all your fears,
back where you have flown.
Oh little raven,
you joyfully sing.
Is there a secret
to the joy that you bring?
to this little raven,
I pray that you come,
and please tell me where,
your joy has come from.
Because in my eyes,
I see no reason,
to feel such joy,
in any season.
I pray for this raven,
to never lose song,
in this troubled world
where his joy doesn't belong.
