    My Dear Silent Friend

     I tell you about my day,
    and how it went as well,
    you listen to me carefully,
    catch every word i tell.

    I tell you when I'm upset,
    and what is on my mind,
    you always seem to be there,
    you are just so very kind.

    And when I fall in love,
    you listen to me speak,
    of how I really love this guy,
    and how he makes me weak.

    I tell you all my secrets,
    and all the gossip too,
    I  know you will never repeat,
    what I have to say to you.

    So I thank you for your time,
    and for putting up with me,
    my journal is my life and friend,
    for only my eyes to see.

    Interesting, I have been writing since your age, so stick with it, your poems are good. full of good rhymes, and life. And me too,, my journal is my friend, :)

    very nice generic style poem here, your style i like and the rhyming is good as is the flow. Simple idea expressed very well overall great job!
