Loneliness...at this Rate
Dont leave me,here in the dark,
alone by myself,
please, listen to my bark.
My heart is breaking,
as you walk away,
I want to stop you,
but what can I say?
As your feet keep moving,
the light darkens,
shadows arise,
my cries, you harken.
When you are gone,
from my sight,
I try to breathe,
and hold myself tight.
Now my world,
is dark and grey,
my soul is dead,
and begins to decay.
You were my only,
you were my all,
but how could you stand,
to watch me fall?
You were my crutch,
you were my cane,
without your support,
I fall like rain.
Depression comes,
with the tears I cry,
I want to be alone,
until the day I die.
Here I lay,
loneliness, my fate,
It must be true,
