L-OVER

L-OVER

Draw it out in broad strokes, a portrait in your mind

How close are you to what you're hoping to find?
Do you still think someone else will make you whole?
That someone else can make you happy or calm your soul?
What are you doing differently this time?
How did the last time change you?
Can you see that there are lengths you just won't go to?
Or are you still just as mystified, still half believing in strange ideas?
Like love is an event, totally out of your control?
Or that you're missing half of your soul?
Funny thing about that word "lover" that you're drawn to like a bee to spring clover.
The smallest thing can change it, watch: take away the "L" and it's OVER...

WOW!
