  • What a year...and it keeps getting better...

Going Fishing

Out on the water
Ripples surround me
Will that one be caught
The one whom can be mine
Sun blazing upon my back
Gurgles, splashes, waves
Will I find the one who's to be mine
Cast in the line
Quietly sitting, waiting
Splashes turn to struggle
Reel it in, capture it
Bring in the net
What do I find
Is it my treasure
Or is it not
It slips away
Under the water
Will I find mine today
Cast in the water again
Simply waiting
Always searching
Waiting for my treasure
In the vastness
Of the water
Take me fishing
All my days

great imagery i feel like im there never lose hope it is the only thing that can keep you going on you will find your treasure it just might not be what you planned

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
