Epiphany
Been a Christian,
been a Mormon,
been a Muslim
and a Jew.
Walking each path-
I found none quite right.
Then suddenly I felt
a truth so bright.
I heard loves compassion,
sing it's sweet song.
Faith is all, thats all,
we need to belong.
No more of the dogma's
manufactured by man,
with his wars against life
and fearful commands.
Free forever !
Who cares what they say !
My soul is soaring,
above the old ways.
Strength is felt.
Confusion has died,
For the first time,
the only time,
I'm alive ! I'm alive
been a Mormon,
been a Muslim
and a Jew.
Walking each path-
I found none quite right.
Then suddenly I felt
a truth so bright.
I heard loves compassion,
sing it's sweet song.
Faith is all, thats all,
we need to belong.
No more of the dogma's
manufactured by man,
with his wars against life
and fearful commands.
Free forever !
Who cares what they say !
My soul is soaring,
above the old ways.
Strength is felt.
Confusion has died,
For the first time,
the only time,
I'm alive ! I'm alive
