cold
I stand alone
Looking for someone
I feel cold
Colder than I ever felt before
Time stands still, as I wait
I wait to die from this cold in my heart
To be spared from this pain
I cannot see, im blind in this darkness
Unable to move, I slip farther
Father in to the cold,
Farther into the darkness
In the dark, in this cold
I feel a warmth, I see a light
Voices call me
Warming my heart, warming my soul
You stand before me
And hold out your hand
As you whisper “come, we’ve been waiting”
Your hand holds mine and I feel no more pain
As I open my eyes, I see everyone
Everyone who helped me through the cold
Now when the darkness tries to take me
I know I no longer stand alone
Looking for someone
I feel cold
Colder than I ever felt before
Time stands still, as I wait
I wait to die from this cold in my heart
To be spared from this pain
I cannot see, im blind in this darkness
Unable to move, I slip farther
Father in to the cold,
Farther into the darkness
In the dark, in this cold
I feel a warmth, I see a light
Voices call me
Warming my heart, warming my soul
You stand before me
And hold out your hand
As you whisper “come, we’ve been waiting”
Your hand holds mine and I feel no more pain
As I open my eyes, I see everyone
Everyone who helped me through the cold
Now when the darkness tries to take me
I know I no longer stand alone
