Alphabet

Everything I read, I write
is all essentially the same
whether it's of love or plight
of happiness or pain
all the same amalgamation
of 26 letters connected
but still I sit upon the station
keeping the letters resurrected
like a child with alphabet beads
albeit infinite
with different thoughts taking leads
until I say I've finished it
the alphabet rules my poet mind
an aggravating, extravagancy
and while I weave the letters kind
it is the letters who weave me
