     you raise my temperature a degree or two

    shivering with fever, you do

    you shake my mind into a drink or two

    staggering and wobbling, you do

    you make me restless
    like lumber jack
    chop me down
    and drag me back

    you worry me with love
    shoot me up with wine
    ease my weary spirit
    into a jacket of time
