    Daddy has his whiskey
    Mama has her smokes
    Baby needs a time machine to find her way back home

    Baby needs a wild and wicked time machine
    Down in the meadow
    Baby saw the light
    Got on board her time machine then popped out of sight

    Baby's found her long gone time machine
    She met Cleopatra
    She met Napoleon too
    She put them on her time machine to show them something new

    Baby's got a sugar sweet time machine
    She saw the birth of Jesus
    She saw the fall of Rome
    They got on board her time machine and then she took them home

    Baby's got a roly-poly time machine
    Now they hang out on the corner
    You can see them everyday
    Jesus said Baby's time machine surely has shown him the way

    Baby's got a Holy Spirit time machine.
