War
Lifeless bodies cover the ground,
Deaf ears hear no sound,
Blind eyes have no sight,
In a world that can’t be right.
The sun shines way too bright,
The moon rises to rule the night
Bullets flying through the air,
Death’s Angels have no care.
Sounds of war all around,
Serenity unabound.
Dying soldiers say goodnight,
In an effort to end the fight.
Blood flowing through the streets,
Anger building, flashing heat.
You fight this war with all your might,
In a world that can’t be right.
Conscience has finally awakened,
In a world long forsaken.
A forgotten reality lost in a war,
To make the world better than before.
