Silence
Silence is a voice in the dark,
Silently urging me to quietly be.
Silence is the sound of a sky lark,
Who silently flies so quietly.
Silence is the sound of the wind,
Silently blowing through your hair.
Silence forces all sound to rescind,
Into the silent darkness of air.
Silence is the lightening in the sky,
Silently warning of thunder to come.
Silence is a tear in your eye,
That makes life seem so cumbersome.
Silence is what I hear when you’re not around,
Silence is the end of all sound.
