Treasure
feet in tides sand I feel you uncover
you pick me
hover
you are the one who sets me free
giving me value when my change is short
swimming in my head you glisten
I held you
listen
you are the one who whispers light
covering up my head when castles are falling
secret of this world art and power
you gave and took
but me you held
shook
you are the one who sees my sight
lifting me up when black wholes shift tides
so never again will I be this weighted down
never again will the standard be gold
only Treasure will I keep
now I’ll throw away my sea shells and head over to your hand
Treasure you have found me here in my sand
you pick me
hover
you are the one who sets me free
giving me value when my change is short
swimming in my head you glisten
I held you
listen
you are the one who whispers light
covering up my head when castles are falling
secret of this world art and power
you gave and took
but me you held
shook
you are the one who sees my sight
lifting me up when black wholes shift tides
so never again will I be this weighted down
never again will the standard be gold
only Treasure will I keep
now I’ll throw away my sea shells and head over to your hand
Treasure you have found me here in my sand
