Thunder Falls

Poem Commentary

Political commentary, 'nuff said.

Thunder Falls

Thunder falls
And Angels crash
While those in doubt
Clean up the trash

Words unspoken & wars unseen
Mighty gods in bloody towers
Fill the spaces in between
And there reigns purple majesty
Mere outcasts of their travesty

Snapping jaws drip blue, white, red
Shadows eat their silohoutes
Until at last the beast is fed
Fow awhile it's hunger calmed
With 'we the people'
Still in it's palm

Awesome. Thought provoking and unique, and the meaning is slowly shown through the whole poem. The first stanza definately catches the readers' attention too. :] P.S. "SerenityWintirs" is also a pretty name.

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
