Hannah's Song
Once upon an agelong pastThe heart she gave away too fast
Was returned to the water from whence it came
And there it lies in silent shame
On the tides and swells
That carry love along
and echoed in the seashells
may you hear her tearful song
She sings about love lost
That she wasn't strong enough to keep
Lamenting the dreadful cost
From beneath the ocean deep
And any dareful lover
Who ventures too far out
Is certain to discover
Just what her sorrow is about
So be careful with your heart dear
gaurd it tight until you are strong
But hold on to sense, not fear
And remember Hannah's song
