The Fairy Tree
For my grandchild Georgia.
At the bottom of my garden is a fairy tree you know,
It stands out from the others as if covered all in snow.
If you sit there very quiet you can watch them all day long,
Swinging from the branches and singing fairy songs.
At night time you can see them glowing silvery white,
Flying round the fairy tree brightening up the night.
But don't make a sound or you'll frighten them you see,
And there silvery white playground will become a normal tree.
