Don’t Blame The Drink
Let’s go to the pub tonight,
It's not very far.
But you always get one,
Who needs to take the car.
Going home is alright you say,
I've had one pint and pop.
But look what's coming the other way,
A drunken driving clot.
You have no time it's inevitable,
You can't get out the way.
The drunken fools run into you,
And now it's time to pay.
This time! It’s not so bad,
You got out with just a scar.
You could have woke with just a headache,
If you hadn't took the car.
It affects us all big or small,
No matter what you think.
Some say they can manage it,
But don’t blame the drink.
