Electronic Eyes
Twas a beautiful day and I felt at my best,
At the sales in town impressed.
I chanced to look up to the big blue sky,
And saw I was being followed, by electronic eye.
It followed me here, it followed me there,
I couldn't shake it off to my despair.
So I slipped in the mall ~ really sly,
Only to be greeted with the electronic eye.
The small round globe twisted back and forth,
Its small glass eye zooming from the north.
Dancing to the music in the shops back ground,
It snapped its eye but without a sound.
It chased me up isles of sweets and pop,
Until I had enough and left the shop.
These electronic eyes are every where,
Snapping your pic’s as they stand and stare.
But I ask you this, in earnesty,
Is it really a threat to our liberty.
Or do we need them to catch bad guys,
Those cams on poles we call electronic eyes.
