Blue Velvet Gown
As she glided so gracefully down steps at the ball,
Twas the first time I cast my eyes on Siobhan.
Her frame moving elegantly and noticed by all,
With her I could dance from dusk until dawn.
With long slender fingers she beckoned to me,
To foxtrot or tango at last we did speak.
As we danced round the ballroom the others could see,
Her golden brown frame irresistibly sleek.
Her soft scented skin so smooth to the touch,
With deep blue eyes and her golden brown looks.
As we danced through the night ~ her tight in my clutch,
To the music of Schubert and Monsieur Croche.
The dress that she wore hung close to the ground,
From shoulder to ankle and flowed all around.
The queen of the ball my Siobhan made them frown,
With her long slender figure and blue velvet gown.
Oh that blue velvet gown cut to waist did astound,
Revealing full bosom to all those around.
As I gazed in her eyes ~ I knew the beauty I’d found,
Was the love of my life ~ in her blue velvet gown.
