Starlings Song
I watch the ripples
fade away,
as dew drops fall
to start the day.
This mornings' Starling
splashes, then sings,
and waits to see
just what it brings.
Summers berries
and shadows longer,
the Starlings song
a little stronger.
In the garden
leaves turned red
and gathered twigs
the Starlings bed.
Cold and tired ,
snowflakes fall,
at last,
another
Starlings' call.
