My Eyes Have Seen Now.
My eyes have seen now
more than half,
of a hundred years.
Opened wide
and closed tight shut,
smiled and shed some tears.
Gazed upon the heavens
and deep beneath the sea,
from up on high,
through forest green.,
Now let me tell you
what I’ve seen..
All types I’ve seen
of man and beast,
at this Gods table
come to feast
upon what life has given us,
some love and hate
some fear and trust.
Attend this life
with kindness well.
This I’ve seen
and can now tell.
more than half,
of a hundred years.
Opened wide
and closed tight shut,
smiled and shed some tears.
Gazed upon the heavens
and deep beneath the sea,
from up on high,
through forest green.,
Now let me tell you
what I’ve seen..
All types I’ve seen
of man and beast,
at this Gods table
come to feast
upon what life has given us,
some love and hate
some fear and trust.
Attend this life
with kindness well.
This I’ve seen
and can now tell.
