No Water
Bitter new wine in old worn-out wine skinsPouring forth tempting gales of sorrows
For does not mankind love to wallow in despair
Seeking reasons not to heal
Battered about by distortions
As though any of it is real
Failed courage to unveil hidden life
We turn aside
Unmindful of God's silent cries
As another light subsides
In the river of darkness
We drown where there is no water
A lone foot on the shore
