    Poem Commentary

This is for all the familys that have a loved one in active duty. I think you for my freedom

    missing you

    The Shadows fill the room,
Moon gives off a light with silver bands
    Mystic jewels fill my heart
    blessing my soul,
    Unseen  love fill the air.
    longing for a touch.

I feel you next to me,
Your scent on the pillow case,
Waiting for the day you are next to me
I lay here in the Nights grace thinking of you.
Remembering the times before Active duty took hold
My solider, my knight of freedom
    How I miss you so.
I prey you come home to me in the same way you left
    I miss you So Much
    My brave Knight.

    I hold your letters tight.
reading over and over your words of power and grace.
Fighting back the tears of loneliness
waiting for the word your on your way.
I give my thanks for the times we  had
only to know that some day you will be here to share in all our plans.
closing my eyes tight dreaming of your touch.
as the tears slide down my face.
    My knight of freedom
    of holy grace.
    you are my everything

This is very beautiful and heart felt. You have expressed you sorrow and longing for the return of this loved one very well with your choice of words. Those of us who have never been through anything like this where a partner is gone for a length of time will never know what it like. However you have in your words painted a good representation of the pain and sorrow. Glad your knight returned I read your other comments. God Bless Randy

It's the dedication and devotion of women like you that make the sacrifice worth it. A special thank you from me!

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.
